Re-branded Rick Hendrick Chevrolet Buick GMC Richmond Opens Hendrick Automotive Group Purchases Dominion Buick, Chevrolet, GMC

Charlotte, N.C. (Oct. 2, 2014) – Hendrick Automotive Group has purchased Dominion Chevrolet Buick GMC from The Linhart Company, operators of Dominion Auto Group, and this week reopened the dealership as Rick Hendrick Chevrolet Buick GMC Richmond. It remains located at 12050 W Broad St, adjacent to Richmond’s Short Pump Town Center retail, dining and entertainment corridor.

Charlotte-based Hendrick Automotive Group, which first entered Virginia with Hendrick Honda Woodbridge in 1992, now operates 93 dealerships throughout the United States, including four locations and six franchises in the state. Rick Hendrick Chevrolet Buick GMC Richmond is the first Hendrick Automotive Group dealership located in the Richmond area.

Hendrick Motorsports, which fields drivers Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Kasey Kahne, has recorded 10 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series victories at Richmond International Raceway.
